[Name] sighed. She was at the world meeting. And, as usual, everybody was yelling, arguing, doing whatever the heck they wanted. She was tempted to yell at them, to tell them to be quiet. But… she was looking for her friend Matthew, who represented the country Canada. He was like a ghost to everybody.
Everybody except [Name]. She loved how shy he was. He wasn’t noisy like the rest of the countries. She scanned the room for her friend. He wasn’t anywhere to be seen….
Did somebody sit on Matthew again!? [Name] got up from her seat, inspecting each chair as she wandered around the room. Russia noticed what she was doing and watched as she made her way to him.
“…. Stand up for a moment please.”
Instead of doing what she asked, the Russian smiled cutely at her.
“What for [Name]?”
[Name] just stared at Russia, waiting for him to move. Instead, a dark purple aura stared to appear around him.
“Aiyah!! [Name], stop getting Russia so angry! What did you do this time?!” Yao yelled at [Name]. She turned to look at the man who represented China.
“Nothing! Russia’s sitting on Canada again!” She replied, glaring daggers at Ivan.
“…. I’m not helping you this time.” Yao said, turning away.
Looks like she was on her own this time… [Name] started pushing the large nation. He barely even moved.
“[Name], is there something you need?” He asked sweetly. The dark aura around him started growing again.
“Yeah, I need Matthew. Now stand up or else I’ll… Get Belarus or Germany!” She threatened. This only made Ivan chuckle.
[Name] had enough of this. She mustered up all the strength she had and forcefully shoved Ivan out of his seat. She saw Matthew and helped him stand up.
“Th-thanks [Name]….” He managed to say.
“No problem Mattie!” She replied, helping him over to the empty seat next to her chair. She could hear Ivan going Kolkolkolkol, and he sounded pissed.
“But seriously, you really need to stick up for yourself more. Fight back, do something. Quit being a good looking piece of furniture.” [Name] said.
“A what?” Matthew asked. He could’ve sworn [Name] called him good looking….
“N-nothing.” She stammered, realizing what she said. She felt her face turn into a bright shade of red.
“You’re so cute when you’re embarrassed [Name]…” The Canadian mumbled quietly, causing [Name]’s face turn into a darker shade of red.
Alfred, who represented America, was Matthew’s brother. So when he saw Matthew and [Name] talking and blushing, he got up and snuck up behind them.
“Dude, Mattie, just tell her how you feel! Quit stalling! Man up bro!” Alfred said, patting his brother’s back.
“Feel about what Mattie?” [Name] was curious and nervous at the same time.
Matthew shot a glare at Alfred, who just stood there grinning like an idiot. But before he could say anything, the American spoke up for his brother.
“[Name], my brother likes you a lot. Now why don’t you two make plans to see each other? Go over to Mattie’s house. Good luck!” He said, turning to go back to his seat.
“America, you git… Why couldn’t you leave them alone?! They were handling it just fine till you came along.” Arthur yelled.
“Chill out Britain. I just made things move along faster!”
Meanwhile, [Name] and Matthew stared at Alfred in shock. They slowly turned to each other with wide eyes.
“….. Want to come over to my house after the meeting?”
“Sure! Mattie, is it true? Do you like me?” [Name] asked, tilting her head.
“Y-yes… I like you a lot [Name]…”
[Name] moved her chair closer to Matthew and gave him a hug.
“I like you too Matthew.”
While they were hugging, they didn’t seem to notice America and England fighting.
“HA! And you call yourself a gentlemen. Dude, you’re no gentleman!”
“Be quiet you twit! I am a gentleman!”
[Name] had enough of this. “WOULD YOU TWO KNOCK IT OFF?! YOU’RE LIKE A BUNCH OF IMMATURE CHILDREN.”
Both ‘men’ stopped fighting instantly. Nobody wanted to piss off [Name]. They’d rather wrestle an angry bear, Russia, or even Belarus…
“Thank you. Carry on.” She said focusing back on Canada.
“Dude, Mattie, your girlfriend scares the crap out of us…” Alfred told his brother.
“S-sorry…” He said sheepishly, smiling at [Name], who gave a grin back in return. It’ll take some getting used to…
